BANG BANG – Jenni Uusitalo

Objects evoke images in us. They are images of time, reflecting the layers and space of humanity. They form potrets of us as individuals, groups, nations – as human beings. The meaning of an object can also change as the context changes – the same object can represent opposite things. The object at the centre of the exhibition is a socket.

BANG BANG is an exhibition where different realities meet.

The exhibition is supported by the Arts Promotion Centre, Satakunta Arts Council.

Jenni Uusitalo (b. 1987 in Vantaa) graduated as a visual artist from Kankaanpää School of Fine Arts in 2011, and as a Master of Arts (MA) from Aalto University School of Arts and Design in 2014. Uusitalo works with readymade materials to create reduced sculptures and installations. Uusitalo lives and works in Pori, Finland.
