BABY PIERROT – Daniéla Vainio
Daniéla Vainio’s Baby Pierrot Exhibition is a study of everyday representation and performativity.
In Vainio’s works, the adult world is embodied through the figure of a child, while the recurring presence of Pierrot, the archetypal character from Commedia dell’arte, reflects our contemporary existence—both behind and in front of glass screens. At the heart of the exhibition lies a fundamental question: For whom do we perform, and why?
Vainio incorporates photography, video, and text in her works.
